We LOVE game night and we absolutely LOVE Ticket to Ride! Just had to share our fun game night! We have so many other card and board games; but, this is one of our all time favorites! Ticket to Ride is an amazingly fun game which appeals to all ages! You can play it in less than an hour, or take a bit longer if you make it more complicated! It takes a lot of strategic and tactical thoughts which gives it a great educational value without even realizing it! Ticket to Ride is also educational because they have different maps for different plays. Players compete to build railroads across the United States, both developing their own plans and disrupting others plans! The map has all the big cities across the United States. You can also play different versions of the United States maps. For example, if you play the United States 1910 version, the map is accurate to that time frame! Days of Wonder also has other versions including Ticket to Ride Europe among others. For us, the game boards were too big, bulky, and had too many pieces. So, Days of Wonder offers another option. The digital option, available on Google Play and Apple ITunes store, is awesome! It is a great option for those of us with little space! Both versions are so awesome, very addictive, and never gets boring to play it again and again! It’s our new go-to for family fun!

We try to stay as small as possible with our game storage so we have a lot of card, dice, and mini games (like our miniature Monopoly game)! Even though we are in a RV and space is a premium, games are a must for us. We contain many of the smaller ones in a simple wicker basket on our dining table. The larger board games are stored in the bottom of our bedroom closet. More about other games in another post!

What games do you like and how do you store them in your RV?
